What is Workplace EV Certification?

EVAL Certification is the national workplace EV certification backed by the U.S. Department of Energy. It recognizes employers who provide EV charging and smart commuting options that reduce emissions, enhance employee satisfaction, and strengthen organizational sustainability goals. Employers of every size and sector can participate, building workplace EV readiness that delivers long-term value for both people and property.

Daily commuting is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States, with most employees driving alone to work. By offering workplace EV charging and clean commuting options, organizations reduce employee commuting emissions, improve team satisfaction, and future-proof their facilities. Through EVAL Certification, employers receive a roadmap to workplace EV readiness that benefits people, property, and the planet.
